Piano Lessons

Piano Lessons with April include:

• Learn music theory, reading notes, and ear training

• Learn to play a specific song

• Gain confidence in your performance and improvisational skills

• Finger strength and brain connection

Private Lessons:

• $35 - 30 minute lesson (for young children only)

• $50 - 45 minute lesson

• $60 - 1 hour lesson

Packages:

• “The Concert” - a full semester of lessons, call for pricing

• “The Song” - four 45-minute lessons, $200

• “The Album” - eight, 45-minute lessons, $400

• “The Summer Festival” - special summer schedules, $300 - $360

These are sample packages with real prices. In order to get discounted rates, you must pay for all lessons in the package upfront. We offer custom plans based on your preferences and availability. We usually recommend 1-hour lessons for adults & teenagers, and no more than 45-minute lessons for children.

Group Lessons (included in private lessons):

• Group lessons for kids and teenagers typically last 1 1/2 hours and occur every 5th or 6th week in place of the private lesson for that week.

• I will schedule 2 group lessons this semester!  I believe in the overall approach to learning an instrument.  These lessons are a fun chance for your child to practice performing, meet other students, and learn some music appreciation through worksheets, listening to music, and musical-related games! 

• I will ask for your total availability 2 weeks before the group lesson week and I will let you then know the day and time of your child’s group lesson.  

• The group lesson is IN PLACE of the private lesson for that week.  Most group lessons last around 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
