Hello and welcome to my website! My name is April Charmaine Seawell. I have been teaching piano in the Lafayette / Louisville area in Colorado for the past 14 years. I am a graduate from the San Francisco Conservatory Preparatory Department (1989) and I have a BA in piano performance from UC Santa Cruz in California (1993). I am a member of both the Boulder and Broomfield Piano Teacher Associations.

I teach ages 5 through adult, combining theory, technique, and song playing in my studio. I believe piano should be fun, so students are able to choose some repertoire that they would like to learn. I also engage students in group lessons with music history, performing and games or other musical activities.
