April’s Piano Studio

About April Charmaine Seawell

Hi there and welcome to my website!

Learning to play piano proficiently is a process. It requires a great deal of practice, training, and dedication. However, like most worthwhile challenges in life, the rewards are great! Having taught piano for the past 30 years, I've learned that students are much more likely to continue lessons if they enjoy the learning process. I strive to make piano and voice fun by letting students choose the songs/pieces that want to learn and engaging students in group lessons including hosting games and other musical activities. As an added bonus, I have 3 little cuddly dogs!

I have been a musician for the past 45 years - here are some highlights of my experiences; including Recitals, weekly church pianist work, church fund raising, open mics, wedding gigs, funeral playing and of course diligent at home practicing!
